So I almost killed my Basil plant…luckily Basil is a very hearty little thing, so it sprung back after two weeks of uncertainty. I lost about 4 stems total, but there are like 10 in all – and even more happily growing again – so we’re all good. My takeaway from the experience: don’t put salt in or around your herbs!
